How do I book?

Booking is easy, either use our online booking system or alternatively please call Julia on 07809 580423 and book over the phone making payment via debit/credit card.

What time can I check in?

You’re welcome to check in from 8am. If staying longer than one day you may use the chalet between 7.00am and 10.30pm. We just need an hour on the first day to prepare for your visit.

What time do I have to leave?

Please check out by 10.30pm on the day of your departure.

Where do I collect the key?

The chalet has a digital keypad lock. For your convenience a key code will be sent to you with your booking confirmation and this code can be used to gain entry for the duration of your stay. The code is changed for every booking.

Are there any toilet facilities?

The beach hut does not have a toilet but there are toilet amenities within 100m of the chalet.

Where is the nearest parking?

Parking is available all along Royal Albert Drive and there is also a car park at the bottom of Victoria Park. Both are just a few minutes away. Parking outside the beach hut is available between 7am–10am and 5pm–6pm for off loading purposes only.

What shops, restaurants and other attractions are nearby?

Within a short walk there is a convenience store, several cafes, 2 bars, Peasholm Park, Alpamare Water Park, Sea Life Centre, The Open Air Theatre, North Bay Railway and Sky Trail Adventure.

A little further along Royal Albert Drive – Marine Drive is Scarborough’s South Bay with many restaurants, bars, amusements and the harbour.

Scarborough Castle sits on the headland between the two bays and can be seen from the beach hut.

What's included in the beach hut?

  • Kitchen units with wooden worktop
  • Sink with cold running water
  • Mains electricity
  • Counter top refrigerator
  • Kettle, toaster & microwave
  • Cups, plates, bowls & cutlery for 4 people
  • Metal bistro table with 2 chairs

Do I have to pay for the electricity?

A minimum of £5 will be on the electric meter upon your arrival and is inclusive of the price. This is enough for many weeks or even months under normal use, i.e. fridge, kettle and microwave. If you were to bring your own heater or air conditioning unit and leave it on 24 hrs/day then it would run out much quicker. Top up cards are available from the Management Centre on the promenade.

Is there Wi-Fi?

There is no Wi-Fi and phone signal can be poor – surely the perfect excuse to get away from it all!

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed in our beach hut. However, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 1st May and 30th September. Dog owners are kindly requested to exercise control over their pets and to keep them on a lead so as not to cause annoyance to others.

Who do I contact if I have a problem?
